MEDICAL PLAN - 2026 OISRAN State Championships
MEDICAL PLAN
- First aid supplies will be at a designated first aid site adjacent to the Ashland Ski Team in the assigned area for the ski teams. A First Aid volunteer will be stationed in this area.
- First Aid care and basic athlete assessment can be performed by OISRAN first aid staff.
- Advanced care beyond first aid fundamentals and snowmobile transport will be provided by Mt. Bachelor Nordic Ski Patrol.
- OISRAN Chief Medical Officer is Pete Reinhardt: Cell: 541-205-2138. Pete will be primary contact for communications to the Mt. Bachelor Nordic Ski Patrol. He will contact Mt. Bachelor Nordic Ski Patrol at the beginning of each race day to establish communications and coordinate roles.
- Course monitors, first aid volunteers and race officials will have radios to communicate first aid situations and contact OISRAN Chief Medical Officer Pete Reinhardt for potential Ski Patrol assistance.
- Alternative communication can be made directly to Mt. Bachelor Nordic Ski Patrol on site OR by calling the Mt. Bachelor Ski Patrol directly at 541-693-0911.
- Technical Delegate for the State Championships is Jake Egelhoff: cell phone: 808-838-9259. Chief of Race is Dave Munson 541-410-2956.
- Head Coaches have information regarding their racers’ chronic care needs such as asthma and how to treat them.
- If a racer needs to be sent to a hospital, it shall be coordinated with racer’s coach and parents.
- All accidents and injuries shall be reported.
Incident Report form shall be completed for all accidents or injuries within 72 hours of the incident.
